Innovation is at the forefront of what we do, and we are continuously evolving our programmes to meet the needs of professional life and the most modern requirements of the forensic and investigative field. Robert Milne

Head of Programme in BSc (Hons) Forensic Science and Criminal Investigation

Professor Milne, has completed nearly 40 years of service with the Metropolitan Police Forensic Services and New Scotland Yard.

Professor

Massimo Blanco

Head of Programme in BSc (Hons) Investigative Criminology and Criminal Psychology

His qualification as an Expert of the Court of Pavia and the Court of Lodi, with specialization in criminology and forensic psychiatry.

Professor Robert Milne, Dean of Applied Science at the Institute with over 40 years of experience at the Scotland Yard and a Forensic Intelligence pioneer adds, “the blended teaching model where students learn the theory online and then meet up for practical laboratory work is game-changing, allowing for busy professionals to connect with students seamlessly. Teaching is frequently underrated but at the Institute, this highly fulfilling job is made accessible and truly valued. In addition, academic staff and students are encouraged to become members of the European Association of Crime Analysts (EACA) and Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences (CSFS) giving them access to the latest research and access to their peers”.

Our core staff consist of a talented team with distinguished professional experiences in their own respective fields. As a growing enterprise, we are also continuously building our team through new recruits and ensuring sufficient training and apprenticeship to our newer member of staff.

Arianna Delicati

Head of Programme – Master of Science in Forensic Biology


Arianna Delicati holds a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology at the University of Padua and a master’s degree in molecular and medical biotechnology. Her research activity in the forensic genetic laboratory has resulted in the publication of 12 papers.

Head of Programme – Master’s in Cyber Security, Digital Forensics and Crime Analysis

Forensic Informatics Consultant, ONIF member graduated from the University of Pisa, first approaching Information Security and obtaining the European qualification of Technician Expert in Service Management and Network Security.

Vahab Iranmanesh

Head of Programme – Master’s in Cyber Security, Digital Forensics and Crime Analysis

An accomplished Cybersecurity professional with a rich background in IT and education, Dr. Vahab is not just a leader in the field. His expertise spans from penetration testing to digital forensics.

Geetha Rubasundram

Head of Programme – Master’s in Business Management, Financial Crime and Digital Technologies

Dr. Geetha Rubasundram is a Chartered Accountant and also a Chartered Management Accountant. She has twenty-two years of experience in the International Corporate world. She is a member of the Board of Directors and Scientific Commission of the International Society of Criminology.

Fabio Cannas Aghedu

Lecturer in BSc (Hons) degree programme

With a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Padua, Fabio is well-versed in evidence-based therapies. He also holds a University diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) from the University of Nîmes.

We do this through our fully accredited learning programmes and Center of Excellence. The institute is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA HEI License number 2018-014) and follows the European Qualification Framework
