About the presenters
Eng. Shashanko Roy is a high-impact cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience, showcasing proven excellence in fortifying organizations’ cybersecurity postures. Currently serving as the Director in Cybersecurity Services, he specializes in strategic planning, roadmap design, and providing direction on cybersecurity and GRC transformation engagements.
With a rich background in renowned companies such as KPMG and Mashreq Bank, Shashanko has led numerous high-profile cybersecurity projects, demonstrating exceptional skills in designing and implementing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions. His career at KPMG, both in the United States and India, has seen him play pivotal roles as a cybersecurity consultant, Director, and Global Head of GRC and Controls. Eng. Shashanko has made an indelible mark in the field of cybersecurity, particularly in fostering innovative cultures and continuous learning.
At KPMG, he played a key role in creating a unified controls framework based on various cybersecurity standards, successfully implemented through the ServiceNow GRC platform.
Dr. Vahab Iranmanesh is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a sixteen-year background in IT and education. His experience ranges from penetration testing to digital forensics, from malware analysis to threat hunting and threat intelligence. Dr. Vahab has made significant contributions to education by imparting knowledge on a variety of subjects, including cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and cyber threat intelligence.
His influence extends to such esteemed institutions as Sunway University (Malaysia), EC-Council (Malaysia), UCM College (UK). Today, as the Programme Leader of our Master’s in Cyber Security, Digital Forensics and Crime Analysis, Dr. Vahab leverages his extensive background and passion for education by playing a key role in training the next generation of cybersecurity professionals, ensuring that they are well equipped to navigate an ever-changing landscape.
